The Versace Super Smoothie

Ciao Darrrrrlings!

Today I’ve channeled my inner Gianni Versace in his 90’s hay-day and got all GLITZY, GLAM, and over-the-TOP on my breakfast beverage.
I think Gianni himself would resurrect just to have a sip from that glamorously gaudy gold goblet.

This is some NEXT LEVEL juicing/smoothing. This is how to set up your day to be full of love, joy, and feel good vibes. It is Christmas for your body every time you start your day like this. And your body is not an ungrateful son-of-a-gun. Your body will shower you back with rewards. Your mood will improve, your energy levels will improve, your mental clarity will improve, your overall health will improve. Shucks, i’d venture to say your love life will improve – i mean, if you’ve got all that vitality and energy, and you are oozing and bubbling with joy for life, and your body starts to look sexier as you start to feed it better — JUST TRY to keep the lova-lovas at bay!

How To Make:

Use: Aloe – Orange – Ginger     (Optional: Spinach)

  • Take 1 fat stalk of Aloe and remove the “aloe-goo-meat” (doesn’t it sound so appetizing when i say it like that?). Drop it in the blender.
  • Peel 1/2 thumb-sized knob of ginger. Drop it in the blender.
  • Peel 3 oranges. Drop them in the blender. 
  • Blend. 

You’re Done!  OR, add some spinach and blend again!

To make it look just like mine…

  • Pour half the drink into a cup. 
  • Add Spinach to the remaining half.
  • Blend.
  • Now pour that into the same cup.
  • Will create a nice little dot.

Basic Green Juice Recipe

1 large cucumber
1 stalk celery
1 head of lettuce

2 large green apples
1 pear

1 knob ginger
1 lemon

Why Juice(verb)? Well, its super healing. Adding just ONE green juice to your day is already a generous gift to your body.

Its a mini cleanse, a mini detox.

And while eating foods WHOLE is amazing as well, we juice because we can a way bigger dose of the vitamins, and nutrients in general, in one glass of juice. Think about all the greens you’d have to CHEW to get the same amount! Juicing is like the green medicine cabinet – RX.
